A Mabe pearl is a smooth cultured pearl cultivated in a hemispherical shape with one flat & one convex surface.
Pearls are the gemstone for the Zodiac sign Cancer, the month of June & the third wedding anniversary.
Labradorite was first found in 1770 by missionaries on the Isle of Paul in Labrador, Canada, which is where it gets its name.
Inuit legend says labradorite was created when a warrior shattered the aurora borealis with his spear, with some of the lights remaining trapped within the rocks.
